CLUERGAL was established in November 2010 under the initial name of the “Galician Cluster Association of Industry and Support Services for the Development of Renewable Energies and Energy Sustainability.”
Originally promoted by companies providing components and services linked to the energy sector, Cluergal is an open and multidisciplinary organization that also brings together technologists, developers, distributors, and, in general, entities related to both the renewable and conventional energy sectors.
The Cluster’s overall objective is to promote joint projects among its members, support the development of the renewable energy industry and related services, and encourage initiatives aimed at fostering energy sustainability. Its purpose is to achieve a higher level of competitiveness across the sector, defend the common interests of its members, and promote a suitable socio-economic and regulatory environment for the development of this industry in Galicia, while also extending its proposals to the rest of Spain and to other countries.
